2014 Natural History Calendar

It has become a tradition at Diablo Analytical to create a special calendar each year for the customers, vendors, business partners, and friends who have helped contribute to our success.  Rather than simply having our logo printed on a “stock” calendar, we instead create a unique calendar composed of images that Founding Principal, Scott Hein, personally captured during the past year (you can see more of Scott’s images at photos.heinphoto.com).

The 2014 Natural History Calendar is at the printer now and will be available soon.  In addition to the usual photos of the the landscapes, plants, and animals around Mount Diablo, the 2014 edition also covers Panama, Oregon, and several locations in California.

We have a limited number of our Natural History Calendars available by request for customers in North America. Please enter your shipping address below, and we will send you a calendar as long as they are available.

Pyrolysis User’s Training Course

Diablo Analytical will be attending Pittcon 2013 from March 17 – 21, 2013 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  We will be located in the Quantum Analytics booth #1303.  Please stop by to discuss the 5000A Real-Time Gas Analyzer, EZReporter Software, or our custom application development capabilities.  Our partner, Frontier Laboratories is also exhibiting their pyrolysis GC-MS systems, including the new Tandem Micro Reactor, in booth #1311.

EZReporter 3.0.1.2 Released

Diablo Analytical has released Version 3.0.1.2 (SR1) of the  EZReporter Software.  This new release addresses the following issues:

  1. Added the EZ Result Monitor software utility as an alternative to the ProcessEZChromData “After Export” program to transfer results from EZChrom to EZReporter.  EZResultMonitor polls the EZChrom export folder every second and processes results automatically when it finds an ESD file.  This utility was written for two purposes – 1) to address a defect in the OpenLab version of EZChrom that results in the After Export program not actually being called after acquisition, and 2) to better support multi-instrument installations.  Instructions on configuring and using this utility can be found in the EZ Result Monitor reference manual:https://diabloanalytical.com/ezr/files/EZ Result Monitor.pdf
  2. Enhanced all of the “Connector” programs used to transfer results from the chromatography data systems to process configurations with large component lists much more efficiently.
  3. Fixed incorrect “Volume Factor” (cu.ft./gal) entries in the TP-17 standard data source for o-Xylene, 1,c2,c3-trmethylcyclohexane, and 1,1,2-trimethylcyclohexane.  Also updated the default NGL configuration files to reflect these changes.

Installing this Release

To install this release, simply download and run the installation program linked below.  You current version of EZReporter will be uninstalled and the new version installed automatically.  Your license status will be preserved.

Important:  If you are using a modified version of one of the default configuration files, make sure that you rename the configuration file from the original file name.  Whenever you install EZReporter, the default configuration files are reset to their standard settings, so any customizations you have made would be lost.

Upgrading

EZReporter 3.0 is a free upgrade for customers with existing licenses of EZReporter 2.0 or earlier.  However, if you upgrade you will need to reactivate the software.
