Important Notice: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released the NIST 26 Mass Spectral Libraries. If you already own a copy of an earlier version of the Full or EI NIST Library, you can upgrade to NIST 26, or you can purchase a new license of the full NIST 26 Library.
Note: we will also be able to continue to sell the NIST 23 Mass Spectral Libraries at current prices through the end of September, 2026.
Important: The NIST 26 version of MS Search (version 4.0) is only compatible with 64-bit versions of the Microsoft Windows operating systems. Please contact Diablo Analytical if you want to use one of the NIST 26 libraries on a 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows.
A single-computer license of the NIST 26 Electron Ionization (EI) Mass Spectral Library and also includes the EI library formatted for the Agilent Technologies MSD ChemStation and MassHunter data systems. Upgrade from an earlier version of the Full NIST Mass Spectral Library. The distribution also includes the standalone Retention Index (RI) Library installer.
Important: Proof of a valid license from an earlier version of the Full NIST Mass Spectral Library is required before we will deliver your order.
Note: the NIST 26 EI library distribution (EI + RI) is > 4GB in size.

- Main EI MS Library: 431K Spectra for 382K chemical compounds.
- Replicate EI MS Library: 49K replicate spectra.
- Retention Index Library: 527K RI values for 216K compounds.
- NIST MS-Search 4.0: The standalone NIST Mass Spectral Search Program.
- AMDIS: The Automated Mass Spectral Identification and Deconvolution System.
- Agilent Library: EI Spectra in the Agilent Technologies “.L” format.
Important Information About NIST 26:
- The NIST 26 Mass Spectral Libraries (EI and Tandem) can not be converted to SDF or MSP text file formats using the Lib2NIST program. The ability to do this with previous versions of the NIST Library was accidental, and has been disabled in NIST 26.
