The Diablo 5000B Real-Time Gas Analyzer (RTGA) is a real-time chemical measurement tool for continuous process improvement. It is ideal for applications where fast chemical analysis is required, such as monitoring process transients and dynamic continuous reactions. The 5000B RTGA can be used for fuel cell gas analysis, syngas monitoring, catalyst research, monitoring of volatile solvent residues, pharmaceutical reactor headspace monitoring, and many other applications.
Agilent Technologies 5977B MSD
The 5000B Real Time Gas Analyzer utilizes the Agilent Technologies 5977B MSD high-performance, benchtop, quadrupole mass spectrometer. This mass spectrometer is the industry standard for applications requiring the highest levels of sensitivity, stability, and reliability. It is most commonly used in a GC/MS mode with Gas Chromatographic separation prior to Mass Spectrometic detection.
The 5000B RTGA replaces the standard GC interface with our differentially-pumped, dual-orifice, direct sampling interface for continuous, real-time, direct sampling of gas samples. Our MS Sensor 4.0 Process Analysis Software enables data from the 5977B MSD to be acquired continuously.
One of the unique capabilites of the 5000B RTGA is that the 5977B MS can be used for either Direct RTGA-MS or conventional GC/MS simply by switching between the RTGA direct-sampling interface and the standard GC interface.
