EZReporter was written specifically for single instrument configurations. However, results can be processed from multiple instruments with the following restrictions:
1) EZReporter can only be processing results from one instrument at a particular time. If an instrument would attempt to connect to EZReporter when it is already processing results from another instrument, then errors will likely occur.
2) Only one EZReporter configuration file can be loaded at a time, so the component list and report configuration would need to be the same for the methods running on the multiple instruments. However, EZReporter does have the ability to load a different configuration file based on the sample name (called Sample Specific Processing). So, it would be possible to create a sample naming approach that would allow a different configuration file to be loaded when samples from a particular instrument are processed (for example, prefix the sample name with “Inst1” or “Inst2”. See “Sample Specific Processing” in the EZReporter reference manual for more information on this capability.
